Our Veterinary Team

Dr. Sharma grew up around family pets and knew early on he wanted to be a veterinarian. He graduated from Punjab Agricultural University (India) in 2003, followed by a Master of Veterinary Science in 2005. He later passed his Clinical Proficiency Examination at Tufts University's Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine and completed the AVMA's ECFVG certification in 2013, earning his Certificate of Qualification from the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA).

Dr. Gosal grew up on a farm in Punjab, India, caring for cows, buffalo, dogs, and fish. Losing a sick dog to a lack of nearby veterinary care shaped his decision to enter the field. He earned his veterinary degree in 2003 and a Master's in Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology in 2005, also competing in Greco-Roman wrestling for his university. After three years as a mixed animal veterinarian, he moved to Edmonton in 2008, completed his Canadian and U.S. licensing, and has spent close to six years practicing small animal medicine in the Edmonton area.

Animals were a constant in Dr. Bouclin's life growing up - she was known for bringing home strays and finding them homes. She earned a Bachelor of Education and Animal Sciences from the University of Alberta, then completed her veterinary degree at St. George's University in the Caribbean, with her clinical year at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Back in Canada, she worked at the Edmonton Humane Society, spent a year in emergency medicine, and practiced privately for five years before joining Edmonton West Animal Hospital. Her special interests include radiology, dentistry, dermatology, pain management, and rehabilitation.

Dr. Chelsea Schuster completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Calgary and subsequently completed her veterinary training at the University of Calgary Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. After graduating, she moved to Edmonton and practiced in the Edmonton area prior to accepting a position at Edmonton West Animal Hospital in 2020. Dr. Schuster's professional interests include pain management, dentistry, and surgery. Outside of work, she spends most of her time with her family and their Miniature Australian Shepherds competing in various dog sports and enjoying Edmonton's natural areas.

Dr. King was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He cared for several different pets as he grew up including dogs, cats, hamsters, and fish. As he grew up, his love of medicine and animals drove him to become a veterinarian. He graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. Dr. King worked for a year in Saskatchewan before moving to Alberta. He enjoys spending his free time fishing and watching hockey. His professional interests include internal medicine, dermatology, and ophthalmology.
